Nutrition P contains biologically available phosphorus. Phosphorus plays a key role as a regulator of biomass in an ecosystem.
Under typical aquarium conditions (PO4 value less than 0.025 mg / l), phosphorus can already be limited. This can lead to the loss of corals and beneficial bacteria. As a result, competitors such as cyanobacteria can often spread.
We recommend not to let the PO4 value drop below 0.04-0.05 mg / l (ICP measurement).
