In small nano tanks, water loss through evaporation is very high and manual refilling can cause large fluctuations in water parameters. The evaporation increases the salt density in the aquarium, which puts the animals under stress. It is therefore important that the evaporated water is always refilled evenly.
This automatic refill function, which works without electricity, is the perfect addition to your small to medium-sized aquarium. Due to the high-quality processing, it is equally suitable for saltwater and freshwater aquariums. The DIY refill set also contains a bottle of high-quality filter bacteria, Bacto ReefBlend, which are automatically dosed into the aquarium via the refill system. The constant feeding of the solution via the refill system is ideal for optimizing the efficiency of the filter bacteria it contains and increasing their effectiveness. The bacteria support the natural biofilm and ensure a clean aquarium.
The DIY refill system can be easily installed on glass panes with a wall thickness of 3-10 mm in just a few simple steps, and operation is particularly safe because it works without electricity. We deliver the DIY Refill with a bottle adapter. Bottles with a capacity of up to 2 l can be used as a reservoir.
