Spray-dried phytoplankton. The spray dried intact cells aren’t live, but when rehydrated they are a microencapsulated source of color-enhancing pigments, vitamins, amino acids and essential fatty acids. Ideal food for rasing live brine shrimp and Daphnia and for maintaining filter feeding invertebrates, such as soft and stony corals, anemones, feater duster worms, clams, sponges, and tunicates. Also a great food source for hermit crabs, larval snails, and some tropical fish fry.
