The growth and multiplication of these organisms causes depletion of these substances. The trace elements contained in Coral Grower allow organisms to carry out many biological processes. Manganese, for example, is essential to enable many biochemical reactions, including photosynthesis. Iron can absorb nutrients from various organisms. Cobalt is essential for the formation of various coral pigments. Zinc, like manganese, is essential for photosynthesis and is also used in the formation of calcium carbonate by corals. These are just some of the trace elements present in Coral Grower. This supplement is highly concentrated and contains approx. 80,000 ppm calcium and 1,600 ppm strontium. To avoid an ionic imbalance, the calcium and strontium equilibrium with ions such as sulfate, chloride, bromide, sodium and magnesium should be kept in balance.
All ingredients are of pharmaceutical quality or better. This ensures that no unwanted elements are added to your valuable aquarium. If calcium is depleted as a result of the growth of corals and coralline algae, we recommend that you also use Salifert KH + pH buffer for the formation of calcium and strontium carbonates.
